MediaChoice Divests Louisiana Assets to McWhorter Media Group

Baton Rouge, Louisiana – McWhorter Media Group (“McWhorter”) announced today the acquisition of 281 Outdoor Advertising Displays from MediaChoice in Louisiana. The assets are centered in Baton Rouge, with coverage from Lafayette through Hammond. Drachman M&A Co. represented seller, MediaChoice, in the transaction. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Exiting Louisiana was not an easy decision. The assets have performed well, and we are proud of what we have built. That said, we believe they are best positioned with an operator who can give them a more focused, market-specific approach, and we found the right group in McWhorter,” mentioned MediaChoice CFO Katheryn Huynh.
